Summary: "Definitely worth the price I paid for it..."

I also only read this book because it was free on my Kindle. I devoured it in a day. It's a VERY quick, easy read. The word "actuary" got real old real quick, there was some lag time in the middle, the characters were not very well developed, and the end was weak at best. All in all it was entertaining and kept me turning the pages, but I wouldn't have spent money on it.

Exactly the kind of book i like to read on the ferry ride everyday. Its honest, true, cute and captivating story, as much that when it ends, you feel the loss of connection with the book. I loved it. No regrets on spending my precious time on it. and i hv been recommending it to others as well. All my kindle friends!

I am not at all sure why I finished this book. I guess I thought it would get better, but it didn't. I found the characters to be very flat and unrealistic. There was no chemistry at all between them and at times they were just strange. Even for free, this was a waste of time!

Summary: "Not at all bad"

Downloaded this as a kindle freebie, which was the ONLY reason I downloaded it. I've always been highly amused by the fact that harlequin has a nascar line, so I thought, what the hell? It wasn't bad at all. Good enough to keep me interested, and I didn't feel like i'd wasted my time. The hero was a nice guy. The heroine was a little annoying, with all her self-esteem issues, but she gets over it pretty well.

It was VERY tame. Like PG rated. They have sex, but I don't think the word was ever used in the book. The heroine remembers them being "intimate." The scene that alludes to this was so vague I didn't realize what had happened. Kendall refers to being intimate, and I was like "wait, when did THAT happen?" I prefer my romances a little steamier.

That said, if you're bored, cheap, own a kindle and like romances, by all means read this book.
